The Graduate School at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas offers masters degrees in 26 majors designed to prepare students for professional positions and doctoral study. We provide excellent learning resources and a dedicated teaching faculty. MSU faculty members are active scholars and experienced professional teachers. Our alumnae are successful professionals and productive scholars. As an MSU graduate student, you will develop the knowledge and inquiry skills of your chosen field of study or professional program through not only assigned coursework, but also through a close and collegial relationship with faculty members.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TEXAS SENATE BILL 1107
The Texas Legislature passed SB 1107, effective January 1, 2012, requiring all students under the age of 30 entering an institution of higher education in Texas to either receive a vaccination against bacterial meningitis or meet certain criteria to decline the vaccination before the first day of the semester.

MSU has contracted Magnus Health to collect, review and securely store all student documents pertaining to the meningitis vaccine.  You will need your Mustangs ID to log into your Magnus account through MSU's Web World.  Follow the link below for more information:

  • Resumania

    In preparation for the upcoming MSU Career and Summer Employment Expo, the Career Management Center will present Resumania Days at the times listed below in CSC 108. CMC staff will be available to provide resume critiques; students should bring a resume rough draft to the event. For more information call the Career Management Center at ext. 4473.

  •   Women's History Month Events

    In observance of Women's History Month, the Office of Student Development and Orientation along with the seven Greek-lettered social sororities and the Office of Housing and Residence Life will sponsor several programs and events to recognize the immense contributions women have made within the United States and throughout the world. The program will begin Monday, March 26, and end Friday, March 30. For more information about any of these events, call ext. 4500
