What's New at MSU   

• James Johnston, Associate Professor of Radiologic Sciences, attended the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Research and Writing Workshop in Chicago on October 31, 2009, where he presented two topics: Methods and Tips for Literature Searches, and Writing Literature Reviews. Dr. Johnston also served as a facilitator in a writing lab for the attendees of the workshop.

•  Lynn Hoggard, Professor of English and Foreign Languages, attended a meeting of the Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs in Orlando, Florida where she discussed "Using Translation as a Model for Liberal Studies."

• Jeff Killion, Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator of Radiology, also presented at the 10th Annual Clinical Instructors Seminar. His presentation is titled "It's not Personal: Correcting Clinical Behavior, Not the Person."

• Barbara Merkle, Director of Admissions, attended the College Board Forum in New York City during fall of 2009 where she presented "University Crossroads: Paving the Road for College Access and Success."
