Academic Advising
An Academic Advisor is assigned to assist first-year students and students who are undecided in their major.

Academic Referrals
Students may be referred to ASC who need assistance due to a variety of academic issues. A convenient on-line form for faculty is used to refer students for an appointment with the ASC.

  
Mustangs Advising Center
The Mustangs Advising Center (the MAC)  specializes in advising the first year student.  Most 
first year students are seen in the MAC. The MAC also serves first year probation and admitted by review students.

MWSU 1233 - College Connections
3-hour elective credit course designed to prepare new students for college.

MWSU 1003 - Skills for Success
3-hour elective credit course designed to provide intensive academic assistance.

Student-Athlete Program 
Student-Athlete Study Hall and Tutoring Services are coordinated in the ASC and Student-Athletes meet with an ASC Academic Advisor.

Supplemental Instruction (SI)
Peer assisted study sessions offered in selected, historically difficult academic courses each semester.
