Checking Your Results on the Writing Proficiency Exam (formerly the English Usage Exam)

Passing exam results will be posted to students' transcripts by the Office of the Registrar. You may check your results by accessing your student file through the MSU website approximately six weeks after the date of the exam. Results will not be provided over the phone or via e-mail.

  • If you passed the exam, SATIS COMPLETION or SATISFACTORY COMPL will be noted on your transcript.
  • If you failed the exam, your results will not be noted on your transcript.


1. Go the the MWSU Registrar page:

2.  Select WebWorld


 



3. Log-in to Student Services-Registration:

 


4. Enter your Student Login: 

 


5. Select Unofficial Transcript:

 



6. Scroll down to the semester in which you took the exam. If you passed the exam, SATIS COMPLETION will be noted on your transcript.




Note: Next to "SATISFACTORY COMPL," you will note the numbers "0.00." This indicates that while you have completed the Writing Proficiency Requirement, you do not receive credit hours for taking and passing the exam. Writing Proficiency Exams taken prior to the Fall of 2005 are titled the English Usage Exam.


7.  If you failed the exam, your results will NOT be noted on your transcript. In other words, there will be no reference to your failed attempt.
